It answers one question. How hard is this token running right now, and can you believe the numbers behind it? Heat is our own score, not a metric any exchange publishes. ## How we rank the trenches **Heat = momentum x trust.** Momentum ranks every token against the whole field, never on raw numbers, so one whale cannot buy its way to the top. What counts most is new traders showing up, then how the price is moving right now. A token that already ran (up hard over the day, flat since) is pushed back down, and so is a pool that is no longer new. Trust only ever takes points away. It can hold a token back, never lift it. It looks at how much of the supply the biggest wallets hold, whether the deployer is still sitting on a pile of it, and whether the contract is verified. A reading we don't have never costs a token anything: we penalise what we can see, we don't guess. The exact signals, weights and thresholds are on the [Heat methodology](/heat/methodology.md) page. ## What never shows up * Tokens our routers cannot find a route for. * Tokens where the deployer, or a handful of wallets between them, hold most of the supply. * Pools too thin to trade, pools born minutes ago, and pools almost nobody has traded. * Tokens that are not new: an older token's fresh pool, tokenized stocks, currencies. The race lists new tokens, not new pools. Fresh pools of older tokens are under **New pools**. {% hint style="warning" %} **Heat is not a safety rating, and never will be.** A token can run hot, pass every filter above and still go to zero in an hour. None of this is advice. You are in the trenches, act like it. TRNCH has no token yet, and any token using the TRNCH name is not ours. The columns are read from the pools, live: price moves over 1 minute, 5 minutes and 1 hour, the depth of the pool (the liquidity within 2% of the price), the volume over the last hour, buys and sells, and the last trade. Heat is our score. It ranks the race, and the colored stripe on the left of each row shows its temperature. Click a column header to sort by it. A change that rounds to zero shows as "0.0%" in grey. A dash means the window is longer than the pool's life: a pool that is 20 minutes old has no 1-hour change yet. Click a row to open the token's chart and the swap panel. On hover, **Ape in** puts the token in the swap panel with your quick amount. Nothing is signed until you confirm in your wallet. ## Filters | Filter | What it shows | | --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **All** | New tokens only. Never an older token's new pool, a tokenized stock or a currency. | | **New pools** | Freshly created pools, including new pools of older tokens. | | **Favorites** | The tokens you starred. Favorites are kept on your device. | | **Has socials** | Tokens that list a website or social accounts. | Tokens that rugged today (their price collapsed) are grouped in a separate list you can open from the header. ## Race and Live On a phone, the Heat has two tabs. **Race** is the ranked list, one row per token, with the change window of your choice (1m, 5m or 1h). Tap a row and the token's chart, stats and swap panel open in one sheet. **Live** is the Activity feed: the trades happening on the chain right now. On a computer, the Activity feed runs next to the race. ## This week When enough tokens qualify, a thin line under the top bar sums up the week: how many new tokens that entered the race passed $100K of volume in their first 24 hours, how quickly the Heat spotted them (the median delay), and their total volume. These are market figures across all venues, not volume made on TRNCH. The line changes once a night. ## Fake tokens are blocked No token imitating TRNCH appears anywhere on the site: not on the Heat, in the Activity feed, in search or in the swap panel.
