Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://docs.trnch.fun/trade.md). # Trade Swap and Trade views, routing, slippage, baskets, your wallet and your PnL. {% hint style="success" %} **Live.** Swap, baskets, your wallet with your PnL, and your swaps are available now. {% endhint %} Trade is where you swap. TRNCH prepares each swap; you sign it in your own wallet. TRNCH never executes a transaction for you. ## Two views: Swap and Trade Pick your view at the top of the page. Your device remembers the choice. ### Swap A single swap panel, nothing else. Once you are connected, you pay with ETH if your wallet holds some, otherwise with USDG, and you choose the token you receive. A link to a token (from the Heat, the Activity feed or the search) puts that token on the receiving side, with a small **View chart** link. ### Trade The full analysis page. At the top sits the pair: click it to search for another token. Next to it you see the price, its change over the chart's timeframe, the liquidity, the volume and the other changes. Below, the chart shows candles and volume, with timeframes from 1 minute to 1 day. You can hide it and show it again with one click. Under the chart, **Recent swaps** lists the latest trades on the token's pool, next to **Your wallet** and **Your swaps**. On the right, the swap panel has three faces: **Swap**, **Multi** (baskets) and **Info** (what we know about the token and its pool). On a phone, Trade keeps a sticky header with the pair and the price, three views of the token (Chart, Trades, Info), then the swap panel. A Buy / Sell bar at the bottom sets the panel's direction and scrolls down to it. ## How a quote is found TRNCH asks four third-party aggregators for a quote at the same time: KyberSwap, LI.FI, Uniswap and 0x today. Together they cover 50+ DEXs on Robinhood Chain. No single router covers every token, so asking several of them finds a route more often. Each quote is checked against the others and against our reference price before it is shown, and among the routes that pass, TRNCH shows the one that returns the most tokens. The route badge names the router and says how many were asked. TRNCH does not promise the best price on the market. The checks, the reference price and what happens when you press Swap are detailed in [Routing and quotes](/trade/routing-and-quotes.md). ## Before you sign Open the line under the button to see the details. | | | | ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Value vs market** | What you receive, valued at our reference prices, against what you pay. | | **TRNCH share** | What this route pays you once any TRNCH service fee is taken, and the least it can pay at your maximum slippage. | | **Network cost** | Shown by your wallet before you sign. | | **Max slippage** | The limit you set. Beyond it, the swap fails instead of executing. | | **Route** | The router used, and how many were asked. | **Value vs market** turns orange from a 3% loss. From a 15% loss it turns red, and you have to accept the loss explicitly before the button works. ### Slippage Choose 0.5%, 1%, 3% or 5%, or type your own, from 0.1%. The default is 1%. Thin pools move fast. A tight limit makes more swaps fail (you still pay gas), a loose one exposes you to worse prices and to bots. ### Approvals When a token needs an approval, TRNCH asks for the exact amount of the swap, never an unlimited allowance. Uniswap routes add a signed permit on top of the approval. The steps show as "1. Approve, 2. Swap". ### Network Before every approval, permit or swap, TRNCH checks that your wallet is on Robinhood Chain and asks it to switch if needed. If it stays on another network, nothing is sent. ### Amounts With USDG you get quick amounts (10, 20, 50, 100, 500) and **Max**. With any other token you hold, you get 25%, 50%, 75% and **Max**. Max spends your whole balance. With ETH, a small amount is kept aside to pay the gas. ## Fees The TRNCH service fee is coming soon: it applies from launch. It is included in the quote, so the amount shown before you sign is what you receive. Network fees (gas) and any fees charged by the routers come on top. The app shows amounts, not rates. The rates are on the [Fees](/trade/fees.md) page. ## Multi: baskets The **Multi** face turns the swap panel into a basket. To buy, you spend one USDG amount across several tokens, in equal parts by default, with one slider per line. To sell, you pick tokens from your wallet and sell them back to USDG. Only tokens you hold are offered, none is ticked for you, and each line sells its whole balance unless you lower it. One-click baskets fill the list for you. On the Heat: the top of the race, the top winners of the last hour, or your favorites. On Trade: the top movers over 24 hours, or the most traded tokens. Each line gets its own quote and its own swap. If your wallet supports batched transactions, the whole basket goes out in one confirmation. Otherwise your wallet asks for one signature per step, and TRNCH tells you before each one. ## Your wallet **Your wallet** lists the tokens you hold on Robinhood Chain, with their value to the cent. A value under one cent shows as "<$0.01". For the tokens you bought through TRNCH, it also shows your average cost and your profit and loss (PnL), and your total PnL sits next to the tabs. * **Average cost** is the weighted average of your buys through TRNCH, in the order you signed them. A sale takes its share out at the average cost. * **Realized PnL** is what your sales were worth minus the cost of what you sold. **Unrealized PnL** is the current value of what you bought through TRNCH minus its remaining cost. * Current values come from the block explorer, or from our reference price when the explorer has none. Everything is computed on our servers from the swaps we recorded. * A token bought outside TRNCH has no cost basis, and its line says so. If you hold more than you bought through TRNCH, the PnL covers only the part bought here. ETH, WETH and USDG are treated as currencies and have no PnL. * Today, a basket records the token of its first line only, and a token-to-token swap records the token you received. Their other tokens show as bought outside TRNCH. Tokens that look unsafe are folded in a red line at the bottom, and each one says why. It has no market (no pool, no price, nothing to sell into). It imitates TRNCH, ETH, WETH or USDG. Or it shares its ticker with another token you hold while its value doesn't add up. Folded tokens have no chart and no PnL, cannot be sold from TRNCH and are never offered as payment. ## Your swaps **Your swaps** lists the swaps you made through TRNCH, newest first. Each line opens the transaction on the block explorer. ## Your volume A swap made through TRNCH counts toward your day's volume once it is confirmed on-chain. The amount is read from the transaction itself, not from what the screen expected. Your volume earns packs.
