# Fees

What a swap costs on TRNCH, and where you see it before you sign.

**Coming soon.** The TRNCH service fee applies from launch. Until then, swaps on TRNCH carry no TRNCH fee: you only pay gas and any router fees.

## The service fee

We charge for the service, not for the swap. A plain swap is a plain swap. A basket is several swaps in a single confirmation. A swap started from the Heat is a token we sorted and checked for you.

A swap from the Heat is one you make in the swap panel of the Heat page, and a basket from the Heat is one you build there. Swaps and baskets made on the Trade page pay the plain rates.

No rate can be set above 1.50%.

## Where you see it

The app does not display fee rates. It shows amounts, which is what you actually get. Before you sign, the **TRNCH share** line under the swap button shows what the route pays you once the TRNCH share is taken, and the least it can pay at your maximum slippage. The amount you see is the amount you receive.

## How it is charged

The fee is part of the route. TRNCH sends the fee to the router with the quote request, the router deducts it during the swap, and the quote you see already accounts for it. TRNCH never takes anything from your wallet on its own.

## Other costs

The network fee (gas) is paid to Robinhood Chain, not to TRNCH. Your wallet shows it before you sign. Routers and pools may charge their own fees, which are part of their quote. A swap that fails on-chain still costs its gas.

## Fees and packs

Trading more to earn packs also means paying more in gas, router fees and service fees. Packs and cards have no monetary value and are not guaranteed to offset these costs. See the [Risk Disclosure](/legal/risk.md).
